Axed Global want to bring next level axe throwing experiences to everyone, with digitally enhanced lane management and interactive games. Uprooting axe throwing as an activity from its muddy roots and transforming it into a new age, modern day staple in the leisure and entertainment industry.

So, what is an Interactive Smart Lane©? Let’s start with our interactive games, powered by touchscreen tablets.

Axe throwing is exhilarating and competitive, and Axed Global’s selection of digitally powered games enhance your session by letting you decide how you want to crank up the competition. With house games such as Area Control© which is a seriously souped-up version of the classic noughts and crosses or Battleaxe©  which ramps up the stakes with moveable targets to trip up your competitors weak spots, you get to decide how you settle the scores.

These axe throwing games are joined by the classic Highscore competition with on screen scoring, so you don’t lose track as you wipe the floor with the rest of your team. Our newest game addition is Axed Royale© with moving targets which get smaller and smaller as the game progresses, you can really see who has the most skill in your team.

Another key part is our target management system, exclusive to Axed Global venues and our Interactive Smart Lanes©.

Your games and targets are projected onto our end grain target boards from an overhead projector, securely out of the way of flying axes. You can see everything that is happening on the tablets live on the target. By projecting the target, we can give you the freedom and choice to switch between games, so you are in control of your axe throwing session.

So what else do our Interactive Smart Lanes© have to offer?

The customer experience is boosted by our end grain target system which allows for more accurate throwing, more successful shots and less disappointment. Axe throwing around the UK sees many venues using planks of wood as a target. Axed Global uses a system called End Grain where several blocks of wood are wedged within an outer frame creating a target board that is closer to a dart board in comparison. Landing your axe in the end of the wood grain rather than along the side of a plank.

End grain targets means Axed Global customers have better experiences. End grain targets are more forgiving, meaning if your throwing technique isn’t perfect, you are still likely to land a throw. More axes landed, means more confidence and you can move on quicker to learning new techniques, really making the most of your axe throwing experience. End grain is also the safer system to have as there is significantly reduced bounce back, as well as being more environmentally friendly as they need to be replaced less often.
